Why I built this
I love dancing and I love singing along. But going out was never something I looked forward to. In a normal club there is always a price: watching your own glass. Checking who is behind you. Deciding whether to say something or just walk away.
Two years ago I did not get a ticket for the Taylor Swift tour. So I threw my own party instead. One turned into seventy.
And on those nights something became clear to me. The room was almost all women. Everyone sang, everyone danced, all night — and nobody had to keep watch. That is how a night out is supposed to feel.
That is the night I am building now. No occasion, no particular artist. Just us.
This is Girl Culture. The nights are where it starts, not what it is.
